Young Lisa Schwegelin (Anna Herrmann) shows up completely distraught at the police station to report a murder at the annual ghost dance in Bregenz giving a detailed description of the victim. However, the event is only scheduled to take place that very evening and a dead body with stab wounds has not been reported either.
Micha Oberländer (Matthias Koeberlin) thinks that Lisa's story is a phantasm, but Hannah Zeiler (Nora Waldstätten) won’t let go of the story. Only a few hours later, Hubert Droste (André Rohde), the man from Lisa's vision, is found dead - stabbed to death, just as described by Lisa.
When Lisa reports another murder vision shortly afterwards, the detectives are alarmed, but they are too late.
While psychologist Dr. Sendlak (Götz Otto) tries to find a scientific explanation for Lisa's visions, the traces lead Zeiler and Oberländer into the girl's past.
