Primetime Win for “Murder by the Lake – The Night Demon”
On October 9th, 2023, the 17th Film "The Night Demon" of the successful crime series "Murder by the Lake" premiered in ZDF’s primetime. It was the most viewed show of the day with 6.46 million viewers, including 490,000 younger viewers. It achieved a market share of 23.9 percent and a strong 8.3 percent in the key demos.
New TV Movie "Between the Lines (WT)" begins filming

Principal Photography for our TV Movie “Between the Lines (WT)” started on July 4th in Halle/Saale and Berlin. The story delves into the fate of a seriously injured riot policeman during a demonstration and a personal conflict with his squad leader. Justus Johanssen has taken on the leading role, alongside Brigitte Hobmeier, Max Koch, Ben Felipe and others. Based on a screenplay by Jörg Tensing, Nicolai Rohde is directing this complex production with numerous extras until the beginning of August.

Three new episodes of „Murder by the Lake“ are in production. Inspector Luisa Hoffmann (Alina Fritsch) has to confront the demons of her past alongside her colleague Micha Oberländer (Matthias Koeberlin). The duo dives into the fascinating world of freediving in „Breathless“, investigates the deadly robbery of a legendary Stradivari-Violin in „The Messias“ and has to solve the murder of a mysterycrime-author in „Nightshade“.

"Murder by the Lake - Nemesis" Achieves Primetime Win
On February 6th, 2023, the 16th case "Nemesis" of the popular crime series "Murder by the Lake" premiered in ZDF’s primetime. With 7.69 million viewers and a market share of 27 percent it was the most viewed show of the day. Among younger viewers, too, it achieved a strong market share of 8.4 percent, with 0.53 million viewers.
"Faster Than Fear" Wins A DAFFNE Award for Best Camera

On December 3rd, the awards of the Deutsche Akademie für Fernsehen were presented once again and the award in the category of "Best Camera" went - along with two other productions - to Marcus Kanter for our thriller series "Schneller als die Angst". We are delighted in his name for the well-deserved honor and thank the Academy and its members for their votes.
