International Emmy for "A Day for a Miracle"

On Monday evening, November 25th, 2013, Rowboat's "A Day For A Miracle" won the coveted International Emmy Award 2013 in the category "Best TV Movie/Mini-Series". In addition to the International Emmy Award, the film won two Romy awards in the categories "Best Screenplay TV Film" and "Best Producer TV Film", the Bavarian TV Award Blue Panther for "Best Director" and the German Actors' Guild Award for Gerti Drassl for "Best Actress in a supporting role".

The medical thriller, written by the prize winning authors Christoph Silber and Thorsten Wettcke, was based upon one of the most spectacular cases in the history of modern medicine.
The film found an enthusiastic audience in Germany (5.81 million viewers (17,1% share) and 9,9% of the target audience 14-49) as well as in Austria (1.02 million viewers (33% share)).
Foreign Sales are handled by Beta Film and the film has been sold to Italy, Spain, Slovenia thus far.
